dear diary,

tomorrow is the ultrasound, the one which will hopefully tells us (1) if button is developing okay, and (2) if button is a "he" or a "she".

it's been six weeks since my first ultrasound, when i first stared at the screen, finding it hard to believe that little baby was inside of me. at the sight of it, tears flowed uncontrollably from my eyes and rolled down the sides of my face. i hadn't expected that reaction.

this will be boyfriend's fiancé's first time "meeting" button. i can't wait to see how he reacts.

i have to admit, i'm looking forward to finding out our baby's sex. once we know, it will change the course of this "situation." it will become even more real - that we are going to have a son. or a daughter.
