dear diary,

well, i guess i've been away for awhile. and those last few times i was here, i was somewhat elusive....

i just didn't want to jinx a good thing.

i met someone. someone i really like and can see a future with.

this is the first time in a very long, long time when i started going out with someone and didn't see "the end of the road" from the very beginning.

there's so much i could tell you about him, but again, i don't want to jinx anything.

for now, i can tell you i am happy to have a boyfriend who i love and who loves me just the same, if not more, back. i'm happy to have a hand to hold, and shoulder to cry on (when needed, particularly during dreaded PMS when it feels like my whole world is crumbling), and, yes, a warm body (besides the puppy's) to sleep next to.

things are pretty good right now...i just don't want to blow it.

other than that, the impending christmas holiday is stressing me out; however, i've got a vacation in mexico (over new years) to look forward to (unfortunately, sans the boyfriend.)

i'll be back soon. i promise.
