21 February 2008 - 3:03 p.m. dear diary, tensions between the boy and the dog have seemed to die down... thank god! word on the streets is that my company is for sale and there is a buyer. and that is such sweet music to my ears! lay offs, and severances and unemployment, oh my! i am just so over working. in other news, a girl i've known since kindergarten passed away last weekend. she had cancer. she was 34. i hadn't talked to her since our early 20s. i saw her 5 or 6 years ago at another friend's stepfather's funeral. we didn't talk then. on friday, i thought about her. i thought about when i last saw her - at that funeral. it was a random thought. then, on saturday night she died. sometimes my unknowing forsight scares the shit out of me. cali |
