dear diary,

i had a two hour lunch with my crazy old boss today. (the boss who left the company last june.)

she is a crazy old bat, but also a great kick in the pants.

we had greek food and red wine and great conversation and lots of laughs.

working with her was not always easy, but at the end of the day i always liked her. and respected her. because she is a go-getter. not like my recent ex-boss who talked the talk, but didn't walk the walk.

today was a good day. and it makes me realize that sitting at home alone all day does not behoove me. i need to be out with people. that is where i get my energy.

and now, i need a nap, for the red wine has drained me. i need to get some energy for tonight when i visit my recently-single girlfriend in her new apartment. she just wrapped up a bitter divorce, so i will be arrive armed with sparkling wine!

life goes on...
