03 March 2009 - 10:17 a.m. dear diary, it has been raining for days...i have to admit that it's nice to not have to get up and go to work in this weather. (ok, so it's nice to not have to get up and go to work. period.) why is it that republications always like to refer to democrats as "you liberals"? it seems like they are trying to put liberals on a lower plane. i find it hard to digest hardcore republicans. of course, my live-in boyfriend is a conservative one. some days are much harder than others. the economy is shit and i am tired of listening to the boyfriend and all the republicans on FOX news (and elsewhere) blame the new president for everything. i mean, a problem this big could not possibly be the result of someone who has been in the job for what...a month? the problem with republicans (not all of them i'm sure, but those that i tend to be around these days), as i see it, is that they are loud mouths who are so quick to point fingers. it is so immature and quite frankly, it makes me sick. oh, and they are sore losers, too. nothing specific inspired my rant, except "the view" is on tv and i just heard that annoying elisabeth hasslebeck make that "you liberals" comment. man, i would love to drop-kick that chick. she seemed like such a nice girl back in the day when she was just another starving tribe member on "survivor". maybe cbs should have just left her stranded on the island... cali |
