dear diary,

i had my 16 week OB appointment today. i was concerned because i haven't really felt pregnant the last week or two.

everything is fine. i heard button's little heartbeat. fast and strong. all is good.

the doc told me to enjoy the honeymoon period of the second trimester because i'll feel tired again in the third.

only a few more days til we tell my parents. i'm getting a little nervous.

my sister is very interested in wedding plans, and taking engagement pictures. (she's a photographer.) i can't wait to tell her she's going to have a new subject shortly. i think she is going to freak out. her baby sister is getting married and having a baby. my sister is turning 39 in a few months and has a non-committal boyfriend.

what a contrast.
